The model for TWS comes from my collective experience in entertainment, teaching, sales and mentoring. I spent 20 years in broadcast media (radio) in sales, management and training in corporate America with Cox Radio and Clear Channel. The expression “you only come this way one time” has always motivated me (thanks to MOM) to follow my dreams and take some risks along the way. TWS is an expression of all of my skills, passions and gifts.

I launched Train with Shane in February 2007, out of a passion for creating and presenting engaging seminars, training events and workshops, dynamic motivational speaking, and insightful consulting and counseling.

I career transitioned from a very secure, stable 20 plus year life and career in Southeast Florida to a new situation and new adventure in August of 2006. I launched Train with Shane in February 2007, after an unexpected series of professional events occurred. It was the right time and right decision. Becoming an entrepreneur for the second time felt like I was home.

My entire business model is founded on empowerment, motivation and helping people become the best at who they are and what they do! Years of mentoring, training, business education and professional development have brought me to this moment in my journey.

The Women’s Empowerment Series (WES) is a brand and niche I created in 2007 for the exploding Women who are leading and changing the culture of business in all fields but especially education, health care and the environment. I wanted to be a catalyst to impact, advocate and help them enhance their leadership skills, self esteem and confidence.

My blog, deborahshanetoolbox.com is a natural extension and expression of all of the areas that I have lived and now serve: women in business, career transition, sales, marketing and branding and social strategy and integration.
