A few weeks ago an article circulated from theWSJ about how email/email marketing was dead and passe!

Who said the WSJ is always right? I couldn’t disagree more! I am using email marketing as part of my integrated marketing strategy very successfully. My Metropolis Newz is a monthly email communication that allows me to serve and educate, through Constant Contact.

I posted an article here, about the power of personal connections, and how important email marketing is to leverage and harness that power of your permission based database. Communicating with your “sphere” of followers, through email marketing is one of the most “personal ways” to speak directly to them. You can really persoanlize the tone and impact of your messages, as of you were sitting across from someone in person!

In this world of one dimensional, web based communication, email marketing is a great way to consistently “niche communicate” with your “trusted agents”, satisfied customers, and professional support system.
